UI/UX and Product Design for Startups and SaaS

We design SaaS and web products from first sketch to developer-ready screens, working next to the engineers who build them. Designs are tested with real users before code is written, and handed over as a Figma design system your developers can use.

Where we help

When teams bring us in for design

Design work pays off most before the code is written, and again when users start getting stuck.

  • Users sign up and never come back

People create an account, look around and leave. We find where they get stuck and redesign onboarding around the first useful thing they can do.

  • The product grew screen by screen

Every feature looks a little different and simple tasks take too many clicks. We audit the product and build a consistent design system to fix it.

  • Developers guess at the designs

Mockups miss states, edge cases and mobile layouts, so engineers improvise. We design every state and hand over specs that match the build.

  • You need to test an idea before building it

You have a concept and a budget for one attempt. A clickable prototype tested with five to eight target users shows what to change while changes are still cheap.

What we design

Design deliverables

Everything is delivered in Figma and stays in your account.

  • Product discovery

User interviews, competitor review and a clear problem statement, so the team agrees on what to build and for whom.

  • User flows and wireframes

The key journeys mapped step by step and laid out in low fidelity, so structure is settled before visual design.

  • UI design

High-fidelity screens for desktop and mobile, including empty, loading and error states, designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA.

  • Clickable prototypes

Interactive prototypes for user testing and investor demos, built from the same screens developers will use.

  • Design systems

Color, type and spacing tokens and reusable components in Figma, matched to components in code.

  • Usability testing

Moderated sessions with target users, with a written summary of what confused them and the changes we recommend.

Process

How a design project runs

We test early, with real users, and keep engineers in the room.

See how we work
  1. Discover

We interview users and stakeholders and review your product and competitors. You receive a short research summary and the problems we will design for.

  2. Structure

We map the user flows and sketch wireframes for the key screens. You receive flows and wireframes to review before any visual design starts.

  3. Design and prototype

We design high-fidelity screens and link them into a prototype. You receive a clickable prototype and weekly design reviews.

  4. Test

We run sessions with target users and fix what confused them. You receive a findings report and the updated designs.

  5. Hand over

We prepare components, tokens and specs for development and answer engineers' questions during the build. You receive the Figma files, design system and documentation.

Product design FAQ

Do you only design, or also build?

Both. You can hire us for design alone, but projects go faster when the same team builds what it designed, because nothing is lost in handover.

How long does a design project take?

A focused Design for a focused first release, from discovery to developer-ready screens, usually takes three to five weeks; inside an MVP build it runs alongside development. A design audit and redesign of an existing product depends on how many screens and flows it has.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Yes. We work within your brand guidelines and extend them for product use, such as states, data tables and forms. If you have no brand yet, we can create a simple product visual style.

Do you run user research?

Yes. We interview and test with your users or recruit people who match your target customer. Even five sessions usually show the biggest problems.

How do you make designs accessible?

We design to WCAG 2.2 AA from the start, checking color contrast, focus states, target sizes and readable text. Accessibility issues are much cheaper to fix in Figma than in code.

Who owns the design files?

You do. We work in your Figma account or transfer the files to it, and all design IP is yours once the work is paid for.
